Cell Phone Theft Ring Discovered At Nocturnal Wonderland

The first day of Insomniac’s smaller, more intimate Nocturnal Wonderland festival kicked off yesterday. The event features camping, tons of blacklight experiences and headlining performances from DJ’s like Dillon Francis, and many more.

Over 16,000 people attended night 1 of the event, and according to authorities, 33 people were arrested for various offenses including public drunkenness and drug possession.

Authorities also uncovered a cell phone theft ring, and recovered nearly 40 cell phones. Five people were arrested in relation to the theft ring, and are asking attendees to be super vigilant. Remember what happened at Coachella?

Tonight is the second and final night of the festival and features sets from Excision, Zomboy and more. Doors to the festival open shortly.
