The first night of 2016’s Ultra Music Festival in Miami started out with an incredible lineup of EDM’s biggest names, including performances by Kaskade, Carl Cox, Snails, Jauz, Dash Berlin, Kygo, DJ Snake, Armin Van Buuren and plenty more. But one of the sets that really stood out most was a historic performance on Ultra’s Main Stage. At just 19 years old, Martin Garrix took his place as the youngest artist to headline Ultra’s Main Stage. It’s a true testament to where EDM is now, showing versatility in age and artistry, with bass-heavy trap included in the Dutch DJ’s set. With an exclusive high energy set, featuring a plethora of IDs and new music, Garrix closed out Ultra 2016’s first night the right way.
