88rising & SiriusXM Launch Radio Show For AAPI Hate Awareness

88rising & SiriusXM have launched a new radio show that will bring awareness to AAPI hate.

88rising is an Asian-focused media company that has teamed up with SiriusXM to launch a brand new radio show called ’88rising Speakers’ to help bring awareness to Asian American Pacific Islander hate (AAPI). The radio show will invite experts to discuss the history of Asian American’s experiences in the United States in order to inform listeners of the various stories of both hardships and racism that Asian Americans have experienced both recently and throughout history.

88rising Speakers will take place on 88rising Radio which is channel 305 on SiriusXM app. The first featured guest was John C. Yang (Asian American Advancing Justice president and executive director) who appeared on the show on March 22. As more special guests are featured, the show hopes to shed light and awareness about violence towards Asian Americans and will help educate listeners in the process.

The weekly radio show can be streamed here. Previous episodes of the show can be streamed via 88rising’s YouTube channel. Click here for full episodes.
