The First Concert At Red Rocks Since Pandemic Started Is Tonight

The Colorado Symphony will play at the Red Rocks Ampitheatre tonight, marking the first show at the venue since the Coronavirus pandemic.

The show will begin at 7:30pm and according to the Red Rocks website, will feature the following safety precautions:

  • Facial coverings are required to be worn by all patrons in order to enter the venue and are required to be worn while moving throughout the venue in a socially distanced manner.
  • Physical distancing of at least six feet is required between disassociated groups from the time of arrival until departure.
  • Ticket purchase information may be used for contact tracing in the event it is needed
  • The program will be 75 minutes in length with no intermission.

It will be interesting to see how this works out for the venue. As certain states in the US continues its fight against the pandemic, it is certainly nice to see that in some states, a tiny sense of normality is starting to return.
