In a collaboration with Marc E. Bassy, Cheat Codes has released an instant hit in their latest single “Do It All Over.” The Los Angeles-based trio is known for their uplifting dance tracks accompanied by catchy lyrics that compel the listener to dance and sing all at once. This track showcases the Cheat Codes signature of electronic music mixed with a perfect blend of pop vibes, this time layered with the smooth vocals of Marc E. Bassy.
Cheat Codes is well-known within both the electronic music and pop music industries for collaborations with popular artists including Fetty Wap, Little Mix, and Demi Lovato for their chart-topping single “No Promises.” The multi-platinum producers met the talented vocalist and songwriter Marc E. Bassy at a show earlier this year prior to quarantine, leading to this latest collaboration for “Do It All Over.” Marc is best known as the vocalist for the Los Angeles-based group 2AM Club, a local pop band founded back in 2007.
The electronic pop track “Do It All Over” is part of Cheat Codes multi-part album Hellraisers, along with three prior tracks including “Washed Up”, “Stay” with Bryce Vine, and “Between Our Hearts” ft. CXLOE. The lyrics of “Do It All Over” are emotive yet uplifting, allowing the listener to reminiscence on past experiences or relationships to see if it makes sense to try it one more time. In a time like this with coronavirus lockdowns and major life changes, it is certainly a time to reflect on life, relationships, and beyond. The beat created by Cheat Codes is energetic with positive vibes, making it the perfect balance with the lyrics.
