Thousands Are Attending Live Events In New Zealand

COVID-19 has affected almost every single country in the world. Some countries have recovered or have started to recover better than others – especially New Zealand. In the past year, New Zealand has been able to host live events with thousands of attendees. New Zealand’s Gisborne’s Rhythm and Vine Festival alone hosted more than 20,000 people; the country currently has less than 80 COVID-19 cases.

When COVID-19 first started to sweep across the world, New Zealand was one of the first countries to completely close its borders to tourists and non-residents. As a result, the country has had very minimal cases and has been able to host live events at full scale, including an event on the south side of New Zealand which hosted more than 10,000 people.

While New Zealand continues to thrive, countries such as the United Kingdom, Italy, and Germany have all initiated new lockdown periods. Hats off to New Zealand for being able to host full-scale events, I’m sure a lot of us would love to be attending live shows at full capacity right now.
