Glastonbury Is Canceled For A Second Year In A Row

Today, Glastonbury announced that they have canceled their 2021 scheduled event due to COVID-19. Unfortunately, this year would have been Glastonbury’s 50th anniversary for the festival which was actually scheduled to take place in 2020, however, due to COVID-19, it was postponed until this year.

Ticketholders for the 2020 event that chose to have their tickets roll over into 2021 can have the option to have their tickets roll over again if they would like. The founder of the festival, Michael Eavis, had previously stated that there was a possibility that the festival would not occur at all. Unfortunately for Glastonbury and all of the hopeful festival-goers, he was right.
