The Avett Brothers confirmed Red Rocks will be operating at full capacity by July
In a slew of recent Red Rocks announcements including upcoming shows from Lane 8, Diplo, Said The Sky, and deadmau5, the most notable stems from The Avett Brothers. In a recent Red Rocks update, the group disclosed that Red Rocks will be operating at full capacity by July. The statement was made via their social media platforms,
“In order to ensure the fairest situation for our fans, we will only play these shows if the venue is open at full capacity. At this time, we have been told that the venue will be operating at full capacity by July.”
As of now, The Avett Brothers are scheduled to play from July 9-11. If the venue were to operate at full capacity, the American rock band would be able to perform in front of 10,000 people, and so would anyone else performing at Red Rocks in the days prior to their performance (potentially) and the days following. Currently, Red Rocks can only hold 2,500 attendees due to safety precautions set in place by the state of Colorado.
