Tragically, four attendees were reported dead over the weekend at Faster Horses Music Festival, a country music festival located in Brooklyn, Michigan.
Authorities found three men who had passed away in their trailer. The suspected cause is carbon monoxide poisoning due to a generator being too close to the trailer in question.
There were two other men in the trailer along with the three deceased. Those two were taken to a local hospital from the event. They are currently receiving treatment for acute carbon monoxide poisoning according to the Lenawee County Sheriff’s Office.
Melissa Donna Havens, 30, was also found dead at the festival six hours before the three men. The cause of Havens death is currently unknown according to Michigan State Police. Authorities are searching for a man in his 30s who was seen with Havens near the time she was found.
