France Nightclubs To Require Vaccine Passports

Sebastien Salom-Gomis, AFP

News out of France today. The country will soon require vaccine passports to enter nightclubs that have 50 or more people. The vaccine passports must display your proof of vaccine or proof of a negative test, to be presented upon entry.

As COVID cases seemingly begin to rise across many parts of the world, many indoor venues are looking at various solutions that will avoid them from completely shuttering their doors once again.

The news has set off several demonstrations in France, as well as Italy and Australia filled with people who are opposed to the new law. For those visiting tourist attractions, the requirement has been in place France since last week.

The new legislature will take effect starting in early August, so if you’re partying or out in France starting next week, you will need to have the digital passport available.
