Bonnaroo Will Now Require All Attendees To Be Vaccinated Or Provide A Negative COVID Test

The Tennessee-based music and arts festival, Bonnaroo will now required all attendees either provide proof of vaccination or a negative COVID test for entry. This comes as a result of increasing COVID-19 cases around the country due to the Delta variant.

In regards to vaccination, attendees must receive the second shot by Thursday, August 19. This will allow for the two-week gap between the festival for the vaccine to take full effect. Those who would prefer not to be vaccinated need a negative COVID tests from within 72 hours of the event. They will also be asked to wear a mask throughout the festival.

As COVID cases have increased, whether or not events and venues will require vaccination has become a hotly debated topic. Live Nation recently announced that artists performing at their venues can make their own decision to require vaccinations and negative tests while New York City recently imposed a ban on non-vaccinated people from most indoor public spaces.
