Yesterday, August 25, 2021, marked four years since the release of Left Is Right, the groundbreaking debut album from experimental trap star, Troyboi (real name Troy Henry). In acknowledgement of the anniversary, Henry put out a tweet that hinted at a possible impending second album. View the tweet below.
Left Is Right featured a whopping 20 tracks, demonstrating Henry’s adept ability for sampling and beat manipulation. Since the album dropped Henry, helped to define a new subgenre of dance music and inspired countless other artists to put their spin on 808-driven styles.
Should a new album be on the way, it’s very likely Henry will double down on his efforts. Deliver more than 20 tracks with even more diverse sounds.
