Nebula Is The New Nightclub Dedicated To Dance Music Opening In Manhattan

This weekend a new nightclub dedicated to dance music will open in Manhattan for the first time in years. The club is called Nebula, and it is located in the heart of the city right near Times Square.

Back in the early days of dance culture, Manhattan was home to various meccas of the sound including Twilo, the famed institution that hosted some of Sasha and John Digweed‘s first sets together. Nebula is seeking to reinvigorate that reputation as the world clamors for first-rate club experiences post-pandemic.

The club itself fits 700 people throughout an 11,000 square foot interior with a 5,500 square foot dance floor surrounded by a state of the art d&b audiotechnik sound system. The ceiling of the club is composed of six LED panels that can be individually arranged to create a unique experience every night.

Opening night for Nebula is this Friday, October 22, with Carnage‘s house music alias, Gordo. That Saturday, Purple Disco Machine will bring his signature blend of funk, soul, disco, and house, harkening back to NYC during the birth of dance culture.
