Amsterdam Dance Event Confirms Dates For 2022

Following a successful 2021 iteration under COVID guidelines, Amsterdam Dance Event has confirmed the dates for the 2022 edition. The revered dance music conference will take place October 19-23, 2022.

ADE is where all the movers and shakers and dance music gather every year to discuss where the culture is, where it’s been, and where it’s going. Artists, agents, event promoters, and all manner of industry members are present, attending lectures, panels, and of course, parties.

Due to the COVID-19 pandemic, there was much uncertainty surrounding the ADE 2021. ADE 2020 was cancelled outright, and a similar outcome seemed very likely for 2021 as well. However, just a few weeks before the conference, the Dutch government approved indoor events to run until midnight.

Midnight is a much earlier end time than what is expected from ADE events which can run for as long as 24 hours, but it is a far more preferable outcome than canceling the conference for the second year in a row. Dozens of parties happened over the course of five days, and in 2022 the hope is parties will be back to their original form.
