Sven Väth Will Curate An Exhibit For The Museum of Modern Electronic Music

The Museum of Modern Electronic Music (MOMEM) is opening next year, and legendary producer, DJ, and labelhead Sven Väth is christening the launch with his own exhibit in collaboration with visual artist Tobias Rehberger.

This exhibit will take a deep dive into Vath’s decades of experience in the electronic music scene. He is providing records, photographs, flyers, and other pieces of memorabilia including his private art collection as the center and starting point of the museum.

MOMEM director Alex Azary says “There is no better opening exhibition for MOMEM, because Sven Väth and Tobias Rehberger have each, in their own way, taken electronic music culture from Frankfurt to the world” with Väth and Tobias Rehberger saying “We are very much looking forward to working together on this exhibition and are ourselves excited to see where this joint journey will take us”.

Part of the opening will also include a public party with Väth on April 8, 2022 at the Hauptwache, the famous plaza in the center of Frankfurt where MOMEM lives.
