A Look Into the Biggest New Year’s Alien Invasion in Southern California
Countdown NYE is one of Insomniac’s biggest high-production festivals in Southern California, alongside Escape Halloween and Beyond Wonderland. Countdown NYE returns to San Bernardino this year with an additional day for additional fun! The festival will take place from December 31st (Friday) to January 1st (Saturday). Get ready to ring in the New Year at this galactic event!
Stages + Lineup
Festival attendees enter “Raveland” and explore the multiple universes within the grounds. The multiple universes, aka stages, include The Nebula, Area 51, The Twilight Zone, and The Mothership. Each stage will feature DJs that everyone can enjoy. The lineup this year includes big names like Rezz, Tiësto, NGHTMRE, RL Grime, and more!
Activities
Outside of the stages are many activities and experiences for guests to enjoy. One of the most out-of-this-world experiences is the Alien Red Light District, where festival-goers can view and interact with live XXX aliens. Head to The Laboratory to find out about Insomniac’s newest collab with RNBW. Check out the Galaxy Mall for a live “space jazz” bar, nail salon, tattoo shop, and even a massage parlor. If you are a VIP ticket holder, you get to enjoy dedicated VIP dance areas, a hot chocolate bar, exclusive bars, gourmet food trucks, and a complimentary champagne toast at midnight!
Travel
If you are coming from Los Angeles or Orange County, there are Metrolink passes available. With the Metrolink pass, you won’t have to worry about parking and will ultimately save you time and money. If you prefer to drive yourself, there will be designated free parking close to the venue.
