Slushii is cranking up the heat this summer with a string of new releases and one hot album. A Slushii Summer kicked off June 24 with a brand new original track from the multi-genre producer released each Friday this summer.
This series of releases culminates with a 15-track album drop on September 23. The first single, “Forever With U” is a chiptune and pop-inspired track that brings all warm and positive energy of a Summer’s eve.
This week’s song is entitled “Pick Yourself Up” and is a collaboration between Slushii, real name Julian Michael Scanlan, and Pauline Herr. The piece combines Scanlan’s iconic melodic future bass with both artists singing vulnerable yet optimistic vocals.
Scanlan started his first three years of the project with a bang. He has three headlining tours already under his belt and has performed at the mainstage EDC Las Vegas, Tomorrowland, Ultra Miami, and HARD Summer.
Scanlan already dropped one full album this year, E.L.E. (Extinction Level Event), and is currently on yet another tour. This year is one for the books for the prolific producer.
