Seven Lions Marks Ten Year Career With Debut Album ‘Beyond the Veil’

After ten years of pushing the boundary of performing, producing, and songwriting, Seven Lions just released his masterpiece debut album Beyond the Veil.

The project is a magnum opus of Seven Lions’ decade of creating innovative and emotional tracks. The LP is largely focused on instrumentalism and atmosphere, incorporating less dubstep, psytrance, and bass than previous works.

The album also features only vocalists as collaborators including many he has worked with throughout his career like Lights, JT Roach, and Dia Frampton.

Beyond the Veil begins with “Call On Me,” a swelling song that tells of a common theme of the producer: coming home to someone when you feel lonely.

Someday” hints at a folk inspiration that showcases Seven Lions’ love of renaissance and fantasy, aligning well with the orchestral focus.

The LP finishes out with classic dramatic pieces like “Stop Thinking” and “Falling Fast” with Seven Lions’ signature warmth and heart-aching passion.
