Reinier Zonneveld, Alan Fitzpatrick, and Reset Robot have teamed up to create a masterpiece three-song EP entitled Sonic Texture x Desolate on Zonneveld’s unstoppable label, Filth On Acid.
The tracks are edgy and dramatic with boundlessly creative melodies and powerful drums. The first piece, “Acid Texture” is fast-paced and filled with acidic synths. Second is “Desolate,” a quieter cinematic breakbeat that feels as futuristic as it is innovative. “Caterpillar” closes out with its cheeky and wonky melody that takes the energy level up a notch.
Reinier Zonneveld started out composing classical piano pieces but began to produce electronic music after attending illegal raves at university. He founded Filth on Acid in 2017 and often collaborates with Oliver Heldens‘ techno side project HI-LO.
Alan Fitzpatrick has been a reckoning force in techno since 2009 and continues to release bangers on Adam Beyer’s Drumcode, Insomniac’s Factory 93 Records, and Jamie Jones and Lee Foss’s Hot Creations.
