The high-speed bullet train from Southern California to Las Vegas is one step closer to being complete.
Brightline just announced they have reached a labor agreement with the High-Speed Rail Labor Coalition meaning construction could soon be underway.
The project is a 10 billion dollar investment that hopes to create nearly 35,000 construction jobs and 1,000 permanent ones once operational.
The trip from LA and Vegas will someday soon be a much easier commute as the 218-mile train will travel at 200 miles an hour.
The train system will have stops in Victor Valley, Hesperia, Apple Valley, and Rancho Cucamonga before coming to an end at the Las Vegas Strip.
The zero-emission and electric bullet train will be built by Brightline, the same train company in Florida that is expanding the rail system to include major stops in high-traffic areas like Orlando.
Brightline hopes to have the train operational by 2027.
