Dutch techno king Reinier Zonneveld just announced he will perform at mainstage solo for his very own “Karren Maar” Festival and attempt to break a world record for the longest live set ever.
Named after his signature phrase “Karren Maar,” the festival will include two stages: a takeover from his imprint Filth On Acid and one extremely extended performance from Reinier Zonneveld himself.
On August 5 at the historical Stadsblokken in The Netherlands, Zonneveld, as stated on his Instagram, intends to break the record of the longest solo live performance by going for more than 11 hours and 11 minutes.
Speaking about the historic set, Zonneveld said, “I can’t wait to take things to the next level with Karren Maar Festival this year. I don’t often get the chance to do such a long show at a festival, and that makes me even more excited to rave with 25,000 visitors at my own festival this summer.”
Tickets to Reinier Zonneveld’s Karren Maar Festival will go on sale on Thursday, March 9. Fans can pre-register for tickets here.
