Calvin Harris and Ellie Goulding have once again struck dance music gold as they preview their new collaboration “Miracle.”
The single was first heard in a video on Calvin Harris’s Instagram before he posted a clip of Goulding singing live in a 900-year-old church.
But this past weekend Harris truly shocked the dance music world with a one-minute preview on YouTube, confirming that “Miracle” is practically old-school trance.
The track is incredibly unexpected and understated. With a soft intro into a nostalgic 90s trance build, it’s reminiscent of early Paul van Dyk or ATB. With the star power of both Harris and Goulding, “Miracle” could usher in a new era of ravers embracing the historic genre.
Goulding and Harris have collaborated in the past, creating the EDM hits and chart toppers “I Need Your Love” and “Outside.” Both tracks currently have over 400 million listens on Spotify, proving that the two artists and creatives can make magic together.
Calvin Harris and Ellie Goulding’s “Miracle” will be out Friday, March 10 and you can listen to the extended preview below:
