Possibly one of Dirtybird’s most anticipated releases for 2022, “Penguin Hit Squad” by Mike Kerrigan and n808 has returned as a six-minute remix by the head of Dirtybird, Claude VonStroke.
The remix retains the mischievous and quirky nature that made the original version so appealing to listeners. Except now VonStroke has added his signature deep, vibrating basslines and lively synth melodies to the track, taking it to the next level.
VonStroke mentioned that he enjoyed the original so much that he had to make a remix, which pays homage to the upcoming talents of Mike Kerrigan and n808, who are quickly becoming two of Dirtybird’s most promising rising stars.
The two producers first appeared on the label’s compilation albums and have now solidified their status as rising stars with this official remix by the label head. The duo also made their debut at Dirtybird Campout 2022 with a B2B performance, and they will join Claude VonStroke on the upcoming Dirtybird Players Tour.
