Glastonbury just shared a monster lineup for their 2023 Silver Hayes area, the colossal space dedicated to the past and future of electronic music.
What began as Glastonbury’s first “dance tent” in 1995 then headlined by Massive Attack, Eat Static, and Carl Cox, has since expanded into a place celebrating the best of the globe’s historic electronic greats and futuristic innovators.
Silver Hayes contains five stages: The Levels, The Lonely Hearts Club, The Wow, The Firmly Rooted Soundsystem, and The Information.
Brand new in 2023 is The Levels, an open-air nightclub for state-of-the-art lighting, sound design, and production. Performing at The Levels this year are electronic staples like Palms Trax B2B Job Jobse, Sherelle B2B I. Jordan, CamelPhat, Eli Brown, Ewan McVicar B2B Kettama, and Michael Bibi, plus drum & bass icons Flava D, Sicaria, and Sub Focus.
The Lonely Hearts Club is reimagined to host diverse names with a danceable flare like Jyoty, Ben Böhmer, Franc Moody, and Barry Can’t Swim.
The Wow is a sanctuary for the underground, highlighting house, techno, and experimental artists like Craig Richards B2B Francesco Del Garda, the Hesse Audio crew of Ben UFO B2B Pearson Sound B2B PANGEA, as well as Paula Tape, and more.
The Firmly Rooted Sound System pays homage to the history and culture of music with artists like Skream and Ahadadream B2B Sam Interface B2B Aæe.
And lastly, The Information is a brand new platform urging debate and conversation alongside electronic music.
