LP Giobbi Announces A Tour For Her Grateful Dead Tribute Project, Dead House.

LP Giobbi’s tribute to the Grateful Dead, Dead House, will host the official afterparties for the Dead & Company’s final tour.

Dead & Company is the revival of the Grateful Dead with classic members like Bob Weir and Mickey Hart alongside new members including famed singer and guitarist John Mayer.

Dead House is LP Giobbi’s project dedicated to the band that was so instrumental in her upbringing alongside the electronic music she continues to produce.

Her father was paramount in bringing the band into her life, using Grateful Dead lyrics as a teaching lesson and philosophy for his life since she and her brother were young.

Her debut album, Light Places-out May 12- was inspired by a lyric from their song “Scarlet Begonias”, “Once in a while, you get shown the light in the strangest of places if you look at it right.”

LP Giobbi will play afterparties in New Orleans, Chicago, Philadelphia, New York, Boston, Boulder, and San Francisco.

A portion of all proceeds from the shows will go towards the nonprofits Femme House and Music Cares.

LP Giobbi will also play a Dead House set at the brand new festival Cascade Equinox in Oregon, catering to both the electronic and jam band-loving crowd.
