REZZ is going goth as she just announced a new emo and punk EP entitled, IT’S NOT A PHASE. The first single is coming out this Friday, April 21, 2023, on her own label, HypnoVizion.
REZZ has been playing around with more emo rock pieces and performances, playing sections of old-school punk in her sets at LED Presents Anniversary and Ultra Music Festival.
But her upcoming EP will explore her childhood love of punk and emo rock by combining REZZ’s signature wubz with the sound made so popular by bands in the 90s and 2000s.
Speaking about the new EP on her social media, REZZ stated, “This music/era FULLY encapsulates my earliest inspirations & introductions to passion for music, combined with everything I love about electronic music.”
REZZ also recently announced HypnoVizion’s first-ever label-curated event coming this September in Northern California entitled, FROSTVIZION. Hopefully, attendees of the event will get to hear the full IT’S NOT A PHASE EP alongside supporting acts Dr. Fresch, Ivy Lab, and SFam.
