A new Brightline train station at Orlando International Airport is now finished, adding even more convenience and ease to the Florida transportation system.
This station has been in the making since 1977, and now, over 46 years later, it will open for use later this summer.
Brightline’s Orlando Airport station will run 16 round-trip trains per day traveling to and from Miami, West Palm Beach, Boca Raton, Fort Lauderdale, and Aventura.
It was previously reported that a full Orlando extension would be open for use before EDC Orlando in November 2023.
But now that the new airport station is fully ready, festival goers who fly into Orlando International Airport may be able to travel throughout the entirety of the Insomniac festival and through to Miami by train, reducing costs and traffic.
Tickets for the Brightline trains incorporating the Orlando Airport station will open this May, with one-way fares to Miami starting at $79.
