A new scenic festival in Pula, Croatia called Gates of Agartha is set to make its debut this summer with a two-day experience rich in history and culture.
On June 23-24, 2023, Gates of Agartha will turn Cave Romane, a historic Roman quarry, into an electronic music paradise that blends long-forgotten European tales with forward-thinking dance music.
Cave Romane was used for centuries by the Romans to extract Istrian limestone, which was used in the construction of buildings during the Roman Empire including the Colosseum in Rome.
The otherworldly venue is literally carved from rock and will be lit up with dancing displays of lighting technology and a world-class sound system for 4,000 music lovers to gather in a collective experience.
Headlining the event are legends of electronic music including Italian titan Marco Carola, Crosstown Rebels boss Damian Lazarus, Spanish staple Dennis Cruz, Dutch house star Chris Stussy, Greek mainstay EcHonomist, Pablo Panda B2B Mene, and a secret performer yet to be announced.
Gates of Agartha is hosted by the same names behind the Echoes from Agartha experience in Cappadocia, Turkey. For Gates of Agartha, they’ve partnered with local promoters BSH Events, known throughout Croatia for their out-of-the-box approach to unique venues.
