Rumors swirl of Daft Punk Random Access Memories 10th Anniversary release parties as mysterious coordinates and dates appear on Spotify.
A Twitter page called Daft Punk Fandom sent the internet swirling when they reported a thread of potential secret pre-album release events hinted at by changes in the original LP.
If you play the original Random Access Memories on Spotify mobile and view the canvas, the date May 11 and time 10AM appears with several coordinates on each track.
Locations include specific cities in Argentina, London, Paris, Mexico, Australia, New York, Brazil, Japan, and California.
Many Twitter users have speculated that there will be secret album release parties at these locations on May 11 at 10AM local time, with Centre Pompidou confirming.
This indicated date is the day before the 10th Anniversary special edition of Random Access Memories is supposed to drop on May 12.
The special edition LP will feature unheard demos and outtakes plus 35 minutes of unreleased music.
In 2014, Random Access Memories won five Grammys including Record Of The Year, Album Of The Year, and Best Dance/Electronica Album.
