Elusive Midtempo Producer 1788-L Finally Reveals His Face

It’s been over five years since midtempo producer 1788-L burst onto the scene with powerful tracks and collaborations, and throughout that time no one has seen his face…

…Until now.

The mysterious artist finally posted an image of his face on social media with the caption, “SYNTHETIC AUTOMATON 1788-L UNVEILED.”

1788-L has been largely quiet on social media recently, as well as the music releasing front, only coming through the woodworks with one original release in 2022, “Baseline Test,” plus a remix for Alison Wonderland.

But everything changed in March 2023 when the elusive artist tweeted, “MY ALBUM IS D O N E. DONNENEEE donee dOOOOONNNNEEEEE.”

Within weeks he had wiped his Instagram, posting “It Begins” with an animation that spins around to spell out 1788-L.

But just yesterday, he revealed his face for the first time since his debut, dropping the mystery that made his live performances even more enticing.

1788-L has made a name for himself collaborating with huge artists like Blanke, REZZ, and Deathpact. This reveal is likely part of the release of his debut album, now confirmed done and hopefully coming soon.

Check out 1788-L’s face reveal below:
