Armin van Buuren and UNTOLD are aiming to break two world records in 2024 in Dubai: one for the highest performance on the tallest building and one for the largest LED screen ever used in a show.
UNTOLD will make its Middle East debut next year with Armin van Buuren performing atop the world’s tallest building, the landmark Burj Khalifa, utilizing the largest LED screen ever used in a show.
Armin van Buuren has a legendary history with UNTOLD Music Festivals with his eight-hour set in 2019 and continued support every year.
Van Buuren said about the record-breaking upcoming performance, “There’s an unbelievably strong connection between myself, UNTOLD festival and its fans. I don’t think I’ve ever felt as alive as I do on stage at UNTOLD, and that makes this upcoming show at UNTOLD Dubai incredibly exciting.”
He continued, “I’m thrilled to be playing atop the Burj Khalifa and look forward to breaking two world records by doing what I love the most: playing music to all the fans that are so precious to me.”
In 2021, David Guetta famously performed atop another Dubai landmark, the Burj Al Arab Jumeirah’s helipad, for a live stream that raised money for UNICEF and Dubai Cares’ Education Uninterrupted campaign.
UNTOLD Dubai is set to take place in February of 2024 with the lineup yet to be announced, but registration for early-bird tickets is now available here.
