McRave: DJ Snake Throws Impromptu Show At Paris McDonald’s

Celebrating his partnership with global fast food chain McDonald’s, the world-famous DJ Snake took over a McDonald’s restaurant on the Avenue des Champs-Élysées in Paris for an in-store pop-up rave earlier this week.

The DJ and producer has been crashing into mainstream culture as of late, playing the Super Bowl last February and performing a massive headline show to almost 60,000 people at the Parc des Prince stadium in Paris last summer.

Tables were cleared from the inside of the store to provide plenty of room for dancing and DJ Snake mixed from behind the counter, serving up fresh beats as opposed to french fries and burgers.

McDonald’s employees remained on hand to serve food to hungry ravers, with spirits no doubt bolstered by DJ Snake’s banging tunes as they danced through their shift in the kitchen.

The Mickey D’s dance party coincided with the release of a special collaborative collection from DJ Snake’s Pardon My French clothing brand, featuring apparel that includes the restaurant’s famous golden arches.

DJ Snake recently became the first European artist to have his own McDonald’s meal – a signature menu that includes a double cheeseburger, fries, sugar-free Coke and a caramel sundae.

“I spent my childhood birthdays at McDonald’s. They’re great memories for me with my family and friends,” DJ Snake said. “And now it’s a landmark when I’m on tour all over the world. At the end of our shows we often stop at McDonald’s.”
