Amsterdam Dance Event Announces First Wave Of Artists For 2023

One of the largest and most influential assemblies of the global dance music scene, Amsterdam Dance Event (ADE) has announced the first batch of artists set to perform at the week-long conference.

ADE will take place from October 18-22, 2023, hosting over 1000 events in more than 200 locations across the city. These events will encompass a variety of genres and niche cultures from across the world of electronic music.

In addition to organizing performances from some of the world’s best DJs and producers, ADE has become a cherished moment for the scene each year due to its extensive arts and culture program and dedicated conference panels.

This year, the ADE team has promised a “bolder, spicier and larger than ever” event, with wave one names that include stirring French house producer Folamour, deep house and breaks duo Bicep, and UK downtempo king Bonobo.

Chris Stussy, Amelie Lens, italo band Nu Genea and Amsterdam’s own DIØN will feature on the roster that also includes fan favorites like Afrojack, Armin van Buuren, Martin Garrix, Solomun, The Martinez Brothers, and Tinlicker.

Always pushing the boundaries of education in the dance music industry, ADE 2023 is also hosting a masterclass and audio-visual show from London producer Max Cooper, which will take a closer look at the intersection of music, art, and science.

Attendees with an ADE pro pass—the ticket that allows nearly complete access to conferences, networking, and festival events—will also receive access to exclusive “Secret Artists in Residence” events that feature unique collaborations and live studio jam sessions.

A complete program schedule for ADE will come in the next few months. Check out the complete list of wave one artists here.

ADE pro passes are on sale now at ADE’s official website, with early-bird pricing ending today. Tickets for individual shows will be released in the coming months.
