Ultra Japan Drops 2023 Phase 1 Lineup Featuring The Return Of Axwell Λ Ingrosso

Ultra Japan is back in 2023 with a phase one lineup of several huge international stars and the return of a legendary duo for the first time since 2018.

Ultra’s global empire continues this September 16-17, 2023 at Tokyo Odaiba Ultra Park with a first-wave lineup full of top-tier names like Drumcode boss Adam Beyer, multi-faced artist Boys Noize, EDM veteran Hardwell, dubstep pioneer Skrillex, viral superstar Peggy Gou, and more.

But the biggest surprise for this year’s edition is the return of the project from two-thirds of Swedish House Mafia: Axwell and Ingrosso.

Axwell Λ Ingrosso, as they are formally named, initially debuted at the 2014 Governors Ball Music Festival in New York City and has since delivered several top-charting anthems.

In 2017, they released their album More Than You Know, whose title track currently has more than a billion listens on Spotify, before going on hiatus to focus on the Swedish House Mafia reunion.

But after resurging in 2018 with the release of “Dancing Alone” and performances at various music festivals, the duo announced another break in August to spend more time making the trio’s full reunion a reality.

Ultra Japan 2023 will be the first performance from Axwell Λ Ingrosso since Amsterdam Music Festival in 2018.

Check out the full phase one lineup below and tickets to Ultra Japan on September 16-17 are on sale now on their website here.
