Tomorrowland 2023 Hits Massive Numbers With 400,000 Attendees Across Both Weekends

We are midway through the 17th edition of Tomorrowland Belgium and the numbers are rolling in. 400,000 People of Tomorrow are expected to attend over the two weekends. Tomorrowland kicked off this weekend and will continue July 28-30.

16 stages will host over 750 artists across the gigantic festival, bringing together music lovers of more than 200 different nationalities.

And these fans clearly love their drink as enough beer is sold across the festival to fill an Olympic size swimming pool.

There are 955 meters of bars and 175 tons of ice used, but not to worry, over 590 recycling volunteers have been tasked to help reduce the environmental footprint of that consumption.

Bringing the 2023 theme of Adscendo to life is a monstrous task. Over 15,000 crew members per day spend 52 days of build-up for the 34,000 sq. meter region. That’s the size of 63 football fields.

But the party didn’t start in just Belgium as over 40,000 travelers used Global Journey (including Discover Belgium and Discover Europe) from more than 30 countries.

Flights traveled from New York, Mexico City, Sao Paolo, Hong Kong, Mumbai, Tel Aviv, Dubai, Singapore, and more while trains and buses kept the party going from France, Germany, the Netherlands, Luxembourg, and the United Kingdom, alongside special trains from Amsterdam and Düsseldorf with live DJ sets.

And their on-site lodging called Dreamville soared this year, hosting 38,000 guests per weekend from July 20-24 and July 27-31 across 780,000 sq. m  in 19 different types of accommodation packages.

All of the comforts of home are available containing 900 showers, 1,000 toilets, and nearly 300 different tents all built with 50,000 sq. m of steel road plates and 72,000 sq. m of wooden walkways.

Not to mention the marketplace with a bakery, breakfast restaurant, supermarket, and a full chill-out area with relaxing morning yoga sessions, gym classes, and the opportunity to play paddle in a Tomorrowland-designed paddle field.

Tomorrowland 2023 continues this weekend from July 28-30. Watch the live streams of sets on One World TV and One World Radio here.
