Dillon Francis Announces Three-Night LA Takeover To Celebrate Forthcoming Album

Superstar producer and DJ Dillon Francis has just announced a three-night run of shows in Los Angeles at the end of this year.

The first night of Francis’ “Music Is My Passion” takeover will see the fun-loving artist appear on stage as the simultaneously “ubiquitous” and “elusive” deep house alter-ego DJ Hanzel at The Roxy Theatre on Thursday, November 30.

Francis will then perform a special moombahton set at The Mayan on Friday, December 1 before making his way to The Shrine Auditorium for a Dillon Francis & Friends show on Saturday, December 2.

This “Music Is My Passion” takeover will celebrate Francis’ forthcoming album This Mixtape Is Fire TOO, the highly anticipated sequel to 2015’s This Mixtape Is Fire., which took a top spot on Billboard’s Dance/Electronic Albums Chart.

In the last year, Francis released a number of singles from the upcoming project including “LA ON ACID” with Miami duo Good Times Ahead, “Pretty People” with rising talent INJI, “Goodies,” and “Don’t Let Me Go” with ILLENIUM and EVAN GIIA, which reached No. 1 on the U.S. Dance Radio charts.

After coming onto the scene in the early 2010s with a wave of underground hits, Francis has put out a steady stream of full-length works including his major label debut Money Sucks, Friends Rule, star-studded Spanish language LP WUT WUT, the 2019 mixtape Magic is Real, and 2021’s Happy Machine.

Whether sharing his fun-loving personality online via channels like Funny Or Die’s “Like and Subscribe” and Viceland’s “What Would Diplo Do?” or dropping spicy beats on the decks, Francis has solidified himself as a total performer.

Fans can sign up now for pre-sale ticket access to all three “Music Is My Passion” shows here.

Pre-sale will begin on Wednesday, August 9 at 10:30AM PT and general on-sale begins Friday, August 11 at 10AM PT.
