Picture yourself raving on a beautiful island off the coast of Croatia. Well, that’s exactly what you’ll get (and more) if you go to Sonus Festival, located on Pag Island.
The festival itself spans five days and five nights and is carefully curated with an incredible house & techno lineup.
Sonus isn’t the only reason you’ll want to travel to Pag Island, either. The crystal clear water of the Adriatique Sea, fresh island air, and unique places to explore are also a reason to add this festival to your bucket list.
The musical lineup features 60+ artists from all across the globe. Not only will you find headliners such as Diplo and I Hate Models, but you’ll also find underground superstars and new-comers.
If you’re interested in experiencing the passion of local Croatian artists, the festival makes sure to invite and feature a mix of local DJs for you to enjoy.
The variety of venues at this festival is inspiring. At Sonus, the festival is at the beach, at the clubs… pretty much everywhere on the island. You can go from enjoying an open-air house music beach party to listening to techno on a boat during the sunset, then heading to a club to dance the night away.
In contrast to the majority of festivals in the US, some festivals in Europe are able to stay open all night, which provides a much different vibe than ending at 11PM, 1AM, or 2AM.
If you’re looking to party until sunrise, the night parties at Sonus have you covered. They start at 10PM and go all the way until 6AM.
You have the clubs, the beach parties, the ocean, and the sunrises, and Sonus also has boat parties, where they take music out on open waters.
These boat parties feature some of your favorite DJs, and sail off for four hours between 5PM-9PM. They’re intimate, full of energy, and definitely something we’d recommend checking out if you can snag tickets.
The lineup for the boat parties this year sold out incredibly fast, and we see why, with Lilly Palmer, Paula Temple, Vintage Culture, TRYM, and Pan-Pot playing.
Lastly, let’s talk about Pag Island. You can go sea kayaking in the crystal clear waters, there’s even nighttime glow kayaking and paddleboarding.
If you like hiking, there are many hikes to choose from such as the “Sveti Vid” hike, and the “Life On Mars” trail. You can also take a biking tour on the island, or even go bungee jumping!
Right at Zrce beach you can jet ski, take a fast ride on a banana tube, parasail, and more! There’s so much to explore, and so many things to do.
