Last weekend, Grammy-winning duo The Chainsmokers made Los Angeles history, officially breaking the all-time attendance record at LA State Historic Park with the debut edition of their new show concept: “The Party Never Ends.”
The Party Never Ends made its impressive launch at the downtown open-air venue on Saturday, August 19, welcoming 18,798 partygoers to take in a headline set from The Chainsmokers.
The set also featured surprise performances from popular collaborators Maluma, Shenseea, 347aidan, and Carlie Hanson with Two Friends, ARMNHMR, NOTD, and DJ Press Play providing support.
Chainsmokers members Alex Pall and Drew Taggart also marked the momentous occasion—their first performance in LA since 2019—by playing their forthcoming new track “Summertime Friends” for the first time live.
The new show concept from The Chainsmokers is born from the pair’s desire to do something “special” and “different for their fans,” and will look to “transform special locations into day-long celebrations of inclusivity, collaboration and just plain f–ing fun.”
The Party Never Ends will make its next stop at a sold-out Red Rocks Amphitheatre in Morrison, Colorado on September 2-3, 2023, with support from SG Lewis and NOTD. Verified resale tickets are available here.
