Charlotte de Witte Shares Her Pensive New EP, ‘Power Of Thought’

Today, reigning techno queen Charlotte de Witte has shared her new three-track Power Of Thought EP via her own KNTXT label.

Power Of Thought, the highly anticipated follow-up to her Overdrive EP, begins with an eruption of hypnotic beats beautifully interspersed with spoken word mantras of mindfulness on title track, “Power Of Thought.”

Taking the listener on a similar “pulsating journey,” Power Of Thought’s second track, “Pria,” also features powerful chanting vocals, before the EP draws to a close with “Abada,” an ambient track that swells with emotionally driven chords and is punctuated by a singular, booming drum.

“For Power Of Thought, I wanted to create an EP that touches deeper emotions and captivates the meditative trance you have when you let go on the dance floor,” de Witte said in a press release.

The new EP is sure to get plenty of play at Amsterdam Dance Event (ADE) this week, where de Witte and her KNTXT label will host their special pop-up, KNTXT Turbo Club, complete with performances from a number of artists on the KNTXT roster as well as three sets from de Witte herself.

Following ADE, de Witte will embark on the KNTXT Latin America Tour on October 26, touching down in Mexico City, Buenos Aires, and São Paulo.
