SVDDEN DEATH has announced the cancellation of his 2023 Harbinger Fall Tour.
Sharing the news on Instagram, the dubstep artist cited exhaustion as the reason for its cancellation—resulting from a busy summer schedule that included “the debut of three new projects, throwing a music festival, and no breaks in between.”
SVDDEN DEATH added that he wants to “use this time to focus on my project and finish the things that my team and I started.”
The decision is understandable, as the producer has been touring non-stop since May of this year, touching down at nearly every major festival on the EDM circuit.
SVDDEN DEATH’s 2023 festival appearances included Beyond Wonderland, EDC Las Vegas, Forbidden Kingdom, Electric Forest, two editions of Lollapalooza, Veld Music Festival, Bass Canyon, Dancefestopia, Imagine Music Festival, and Lost Lands, all before wrapping up his own Summoning of the Eclipse Festival at The Caverns just two weeks ago.
The 17-date Harbinger tour was scheduled to stop in major cities like New York, Chicago, Denver, and more, with support from fellow dubstep giants like Space Laces and Virtual Riot.
In the aforementioned statement, SVDDEN DEATH clarified that “all shows between November 2 and December 22 will no longer be happening” and added that “all ticket purchasers will be fully refunded at their point of purchase.” It remains to be seen if his October 31 show at Echostage in Washington D.C. will go ahead.
