John Summit Announces His Debut Album Is In The Works

John Summit is currently producing his debut album. Today, the fan-favorite house DJ and producer took to X, formerly known as Twitter, to share that he is officially in “album mode.”

Alongside a studio selfie that shows his overwhelmingly file-laden computer, Summit wrote, “Finishing every song idea I have on my desktop wish me luck.”

No release date or title has been announced just yet, but he has already begun fanning the flames of anticipation for the long-awaited project.

Currently in London “to do nothing but write music for the next few weeks,” Summit recently shared a video clip from a studio session with drum and bass legend Sub Focus and even publicly solicited a collaboration with Dua Lipa.

It remains to be seen whether or not the new album will be released on Summit’s own Experts Only label, which put out its first post-rebrand single—Summit’s “Legacy” ft. VLTRA—in September.

Ahead of a plethora of New Year’s week appearances with Teksupport, Decadence, and Forever Midnight Las Vegas, Summit will close a monumental 2023—which included the release of his mega-hit “Where You Are feat. Hayla”—with his first-ever stadium headline show at Los Angeles’ BMO Stadium on December 16.
