CosMc’s, Mcdonald’s New Drink Spinoff Is Now Open

McDonalds

With the rise of sweet treats and afternoon beverages nationwide, McDonald’s has been unable to keep up with demand. While McCafè has provided customers with select coffee and espresso drinks at McDonald’s restaurants, they have not been enough for coffee and sweet drink fanatics. Enter CosMc’s, a new small-format, beverage-led concept with 10 locations to open in 2024.

Inspired by CosMc, a McDonald Land mascot from the late 80s to early 90s that is from outer space and craves McDonald’s (according to CNN). With an out-of-this-world theme and a wide array of beverages and snacks on the menu, CosMc’s is sure to be a hit.

CosMc’s will focus on blending bold flavor combinations with various coffees, teas, and lemonades. Flavors like S’mores Cold Brew, Blueberry Ginger Boost, and Island Pick-Me-Up-Punch will all be available. Customers can customize their drinks with flavored syrups, popping boba, Vitamin C shots, and more.

Mcdonalds, Cosmc’s

The first location of CosMc’s is already open in Bolingbrook, IL, with nine more Texas locations to open in 2024. These ten locations will be a test run of the new drink concept, with data being collected to see if the brand will expand in 2025 and beyond. Along with drinks, customers can order snacks, such as some McDonald’s favorites like McFlurry’s, and new snacks like pretzel bites.

Check out CosMc’s website here and be on the lookout for the remaining Texas locations to open.
