EDM Maniac’s First-Ever Fan-Voted EDMMY Winners Announced

Your votes have been tallied, and the results are in for EDM Maniac‘s first-ever EDMMY Awards.

We saw plenty of movers and shakers make their mark on dance music this year, but only the best-of-the-best have been hand-selected by Maniacs across the globe in these 100 percent fan-voted honors.

Thousands of votes were cast, and this week, 2023 EDMMY hosts Esme Ortega Pham, Jules Sperrazzo, and Dianna Lopez officially unveiled the winners and finalists on EDMMY’s official Instagram page.

Subtronics was your biggest winner at the 2023 EDMMYs, coming out on top in three award categories: Best Artist “Fam” Base, Best Artist Merchandise, and B2B Set of the Year—an honor shared with John Summit for their SubJohnics B2B at EDC Las Vegas.

Fan-favorite rave locales included Miami’s Club Space and the always stunning Red Rocks Amphitheatre, winning Nightclub and Venue of the Year, respectively.

Excision‘s headbangers showed up big-time in the 2023 EDMMY voting, as the dubstep producer took home the award for Best Visuals, alongside further EDMMY nominations in the Best Artist “Fam” Base and B2B Set of the Year categories. His dubstep paradise, Lost Lands, also won the U.S. Festival of the Year.

This year’s EDMMYs also uniquely highlighted the work of the talented EDM content creators who help grow our community online long after the house lights come on and the speakers fade out. The 2023 Creator of the Year award went to long-time EDM content queen Emma Kapotes, alongside finalist showings from Sunflower Raver, Mike Toscano (SCVNO), Tatum Bell, and Wonderli.

Ravers named Lunchbox Anti-Theft Packs as their Festival Accessory of the Year, ahead of Eargasm Earplugs, Clutchloop Phone Tethers, and Anker Power Banks.

Winners in the music categories at the first-ever EDMMYs included John Summit and Hayla‘s “Where You Are,” earning TikTok Track of the Year, and Skrillex‘s legendary comeback LP, Quest For Fire, which took home Album of the Year.

Finally, your 2023 Breakout Artist of the Year was Knock2, who followed his acclaimed ROOM202 EP with a debut headline tour on the road to high-powered collaborations and performances with the likes of NGHTMRE, Dillon Francis, and his close friend, ISOxo.

Check out the complete list of winners and finalists at the 2023 EDMMYs below, and be sure to register to vote for the 2024 EDMMY awards here. Voting for the 2024 EDMMYs will open on November 7, 2024.
