Arizona-based producer, eta (pronounced eh-tah) has released “Full Tilt”, his debut on Repopulate Stars. Repopulate Stars is a Various Artists feature of Lee Foss’ record label: Repopulate Mars.

Real name Nicholas Magana, eta’s tag-line and goal is to “preserve the classics” and he has done just that with his release of “Full Tilt”. The song utilizes a Motown acapella, with the repeating tagline “Shake, Shout, oh yeah” at various points in the song. Magana also has incorporated the Korg M1 synthesizer throughout the track, guaranteeing dance moves any time and anywhere.

Repopulate Mars is a concept and a label created by Lee Foss. In an article published on Beatportal back in 2021, Foss summarized that his label is a home for artists and listeners alike to embrace their differences and allow themselves to be confident, no matter how “extraterrestrial they might feel” (Harry Levin for Beatportal). Magana’s “Full Tilt” does just that, with the use of his catchy synthesizers and vintage lyrics.

Magana has made a name for himself in the last few years and is set to take off with the debut of “Full Tilt” on Repopulate Mars. With previous releases on Detlef’s ISSUES, Sink or Swim, Encasa and more, his addition to the RP label will allow him to keep pushing the boundaries in the minimal/tech house space. eta has performed at the likes of Sound Nightclub in L.A., Temple in San Francisco, Bang Bang in Tempe and more.

Stream “Full Tilt” below and make sure to check out his upcoming performances.
