Just one month removed from making his stadium headline debut in Los Angeles, John Summit is set to cross another huge item off his performance bucket list. Today, the house artist shared initial details for a headline gig at Madison Square Garden this summer.
Summit will perform at New York City’s entertainment mecca on June 29, 2024, marking a monumental achievement in both dance music and popular music at large.
“From small clubs to Madison Square Garden,” Summit said in a video announcement posted to Instagram. “Are you kidding me? We made it fam.”
Since opening in its current form in 1968, “The Garden” has played host to the biggest musical icons on Earth, from Led Zeppelin, The Rolling Stones and Queen, to Elton John, Madonna and Michael Jackson.
Summit now joins this esteemed group of musicians and more as the latest in a string of dance music superstars to play the historic venue, following landmark electronic performances at Madison Square Garden in 2023 by Black Coffee and the fan-favorite trio of Skrillex, Fred again.. and Four Tet.
Last year, the Chicago producer and Experts Only label boss released his smash hit “Where You Are” ahead of an unrelenting run of worldwide tour dates and headline festival appearances, including EDC Las Vegas, Creamfields, ARC Music Festival, Red Rocks and his first-ever Las Vegas residency.
So far, major highlights on Summit’s 2024 schedule include two sets at Coachella–one alongside his Everything Always partner Dom Dolla–and an anticipated return to Electric Forest. The Forbes “30 Under 30” star has also confirmed that his debut album is in the works.
Fans can register for pre-sale ticket access to John Summit at Madison Square Garden here. Pre-sale will begin this Wednesday, January 24 at 10AM ET.
