Melodic techno is making its way into the spotlight with K3SS‘s new single “Deeper,” featuring Britt Lari, out now on Steve Aoki’s label, Dim Mak Records.

K3SS, real name Ken Sierra, currently resides in San Diego and has taken a darker approach to producing euphoric dance music. Taking inspiration from Above & Beyond, Grum, Sasha & Digweed, and more, K3SS (pronounced KESS) has found a way to turn high-energy music into a deeper, more club-like sound.

He is paving the way with a unique sonic style by combining euphoric melodies with dark techno beats to create the ultimate club and festival atmosphere.

“Deeper” catapults listeners into a dreamlike world with its story and deep techno/trance backtrack. The song takes listeners back to reflect on summer nights and other euphoric feelings they have.

Throughout the track, Britt Lauri’s almost haunting but beautiful vocals repeat, “What is reality?” A question we often ask ourselves in states of euphoria.

The release of “Deeper” is K3SS’s debut on Dim Mak Records. Featuring works from 4B, Ookay, and more, Dim Mak highlights a wide variety of genres and musicians with K3SS growing the label’s techno presence.
