Detroit’s Movement Music Festival has just unveiled its 2024 lineup.
Over 115 talented DJs and live electronic acts will descend upon techno’s Motor City birthplace when the three-day festival takes over Hart Plaza this Memorial Day weekend, performing across six stages, five curated showcases and several special pop-up sets.
Dynamic German-Bosnian DJ and producer Solomun and electronic innovator Richie Hawtin have joined previously announced act Fatboy Slim as headliners for Movement 2024.
Today’s full lineup announcement also includes an additional performance from distinguished UK junglist Goldie, who will play a DJ set and appear with his live band. Further UK underground stars performing at Movement 2024 include previously announced acts such as Skream, Mount Kimbie and Floating Points.
Chris Lake, Channel Tres, Masters At Work, Ludacris, Fatima Hajji and Paul Woolford–performing under his Special Request alias–have also joined previously announced acts like Gorgon City, LP Giobbi, Boys Noize B2B VTSS and James Blake.
Movement’s continued commitment to upholding Detroit’s dance music legacy will see performances from iconic Motor City artists like Carl Craig, DJ Minx, DJ Holographic, Robert Hood–performing as Floorplan–and Kevin Saunderson–playing B2B with Idris Elba.
Elsewhere on the lineup, present-day techno stars 999999999, I Hate Models, Sama’ Abdulhadi, Joseph Capriati and Indira Paganotto will perform in addition to scene heroes like The Blessed Madonna, Honey Dijon and Avalon Emerson.

This year’s festival showcases will include a 30-year anniversary celebration for Goldie’s famous Metalheadz Records, Carl Craig’s nomadic party series Detroit Love, Masters At Work Present, Kevin Saunderson’s KMS Records and DJ Minx’s House Your Life.
One of the longest-running dance music events in existence, Movement Music Festival will hold its 24th edition from May 25-27, 2024. Three-day and single-day passes are now available at movementfestival.com.
