Anyma Unveils Monumental Sophomore LP ‘Genesys II’

Today, Anyma—otherwise known as Tale Of Us‘ Matteo Milleri—has unveiled his much anticipated sophomore solo album, Genesys II, on the melodic techno duo’s famed Afterlife imprint in partnership with Interscope Records.

The 21-track LP follows Anyma’s critically acclaimed debut Genesys, blending his trademark melodic brilliance with pioneering production in an even deeper exploration of the spellbinding project’s core themes: technology, nature, humanity and their interconnectedness.

A double-sided album, Genesys II encompasses two bodies of work in one monumental project. The first half of Anyma’s latest endeavor boasts 10 brand-new tracks, including collaborative titles like “Sacrifice” with PARISI, “Simulation” with fellow Afterlife favorite Chris Avantgarde, “Hear Me Now” with Rebūke and Karin Park, and “After Love” with Delilah Montagu.

Also on the A-side for Genesys II are Anyma’s previously released singles “Pictures of You” and the stirring Argy collaboration “Higher Power.”

Genesys II disc two takes a thrilling turn, featuring stunning remixes of tracks from Anyma’s debut Genesys album. The gifted Italian producer has invited reworks from equally esteemed artists such as progressive icon Eric Prydz and techno champions Kölsch, Amelie Lens and Daniel Avery

Hard techno standout Kobosil has also notably remixed Anyma’s famous “Welcome To The Opera” featuring Grimes, in addition to reworks from Afterlife artists Adriatique, Cassian and Kevin de Vries.

Visual production has become a hallmark of Anyma’s recent works, both as a solo artist and with Tale Of Us. Anyma’s Genesys II project continues to innovate on this front, enlisting the skills of renowned multimedia artist Tobias Gremmler and Anyma’s longtime visual partner Alessio De Vecchi to create an astounding new visual experience perfect for the new album.

A first glimpse at this bewitching visual collaboration was revealed during Anyma’s sold-out Afterlife Los Angeles set last fall and, most recently, at the brand’s Miami Music Week showcase last week.

This spring, U.S. fans can catch Anyma at both weekends of Coachella, including a bonus sunset B2B with Eric Prydz on the festival’s huge new Quasar stage during weekend two. Later on, he’ll travel south of the border for two Afterlife events in Mexico before heading to Europe for Afterlife Barcelona and a show in Orange, France.
