SIPPY Drops Hardest Song About A Fruit In Existence “The Banana Song”

Klick

Australian producer and DJ SIPPY has just released her latest banger, “The Banana Song,” out on Monstercat Uncaged. Who knew a song about a piece of fruit could be so catchy?

The song is a reggae and dubstep-fused track about bananas and how they go bad.

In what seemed to be a three-week-long April Fools joke, this not-so-serious song touched the hearts of fans globally. The Monstercat YouTube channel hosted a live stream of a banana going from green to brown for three weeks. There was no mention of why the livestream was taking place; it was a running joke for the song’s release this week on April Fool’s Day.

The beauty of this song is that it is not serious but emotional. Songs often neglect laughter and joy, as many focus on hardships and pain. In an era of producers and DJs taking themselves way too seriously, we appreciate how SIPPY is channeling her goofy side and bringing laughter to her listeners.

SIPPY has continued to make waves in the bass music scene, collaborating with SMOKLAND often and garnering support from Zeds Dead.
