An anticipated collaboration between Swedish House Mafia and Alicia Keys may ‘finally’ be released soon.
Late last week, Swedish House Mafia member Sebastian Ingrosso shared a photo of Alicia Keys on Facebook, sparking rumors that “Finally,” a coveted Swedish House Mafia ID featuring the acclaimed R&B singer, could be released soon.
No release date has been confirmed yet. However, the track has been in the works for several years. Swedish House Mafia first debuted the track to a live audience back in 2022 at San Francisco’s Chase Center, where Keys joined the trio on stage during their Paradise Again arena tour.
Late last month, Keys hinted at a group collaboration and even threw rapper J. Cole into the mix. When asked about a supposedly lost collaboration between the rapper and Swedish House Mafia, Keys replied on X, formerly Twitter, by tagging both acts in a post that reads, “Let’s get it!!!”
Elsewhere in the Swedish House Mafia universe, Steve Angello’s Friday night closing performance at Coachella’s Sahara Tent this past weekend featured plenty of new tunes as well.
Throughout the night, Angello played “Omen,” a well-known ID rumored to be on Swedish House Mafia’s upcoming album, and closed his set with the world premiere of “Lioness,” a brand new, provisionally titled Swedish House Mafia track.
At Tomorrowland last August, Angello announced that the new Swedish House Mafia’s follow-up to Paradise Again would arrive before the end of summer 2023. It is still yet to materialize, and the album has no confirmed release date at the time of writing.
